Hard Wax vs Soft Wax

Traditionally the difference many people understand between hard and soft wax is that soft is used with strips and the hard is not. 

While this is true, in most cases, the true difference is that hard wax does not adhere to the top layers of the skin whereas many soft waxes do just that. Thankfully, the waxes used at TruGlam are the gentlest on the skin.

Our hard wax is created by the original creators of hard wax and is a gel texture. This allows for the wax to contour to the skin and not be too aggressive on those sensitive tissues. 

The soft wax that we use is actually not a wax at all. It is a soy based epilation product that is designed to attach only to the hair. This wax offers the best of both hard and strip wax worlds. You receive the clean wax results that traditional strip wax offers and the gentle effect on the skin that is traditionally consistent with hard wax.
